The “Adam Road Sharks” were established in 1993 by the Staff & Parents of the Adam Road Primary School.

Links with the school fell away over time, and the club changed its name to the “Bunbury Sharks” in 2002 to better represent the playing group.

Based at the newly redeveloped J.E.Hands Memorial Park in South Bunbury, the club plays throughout the South West, the Great Southern & the Wheat Belt.

A highlight on the calendar each year is the AFL Masters Country Carnival in Perth, which attracts teams from all over the State.
